Savage Boys and Girls Club


The Savage Boys and Girls Club provides the youth of Savage, Columbia, Laurel and surrounding communities with sports programs intended to promote responsibility, sportsmanship, and leadership -- with an emphasis on teamwork and fundamentals.

 

SBGC offers five sports programs for children 5-18, and provides for both recreational (in-house) and competitive (travel) level play.

Savage Spirit 8U Travel Baseball Try outs
The Savage Spirit 8U Travel Baseball team will hold try outs for the 2009 season on Saturday November 8 and Sunday November 9 at Bollman Bridge Elementary School. Try outs will begin at 3pm on each date. Players can not turn 9 yrs old before May 1. The team will play in the MABA Sunday Only League. In the interim, player practice sessions are also being held each Sunday until try outs. players interested in playing on next years team are encouraged to attend both try outs and as many of the practices sessions as possible.
